There are a number of major works of original art on this page. Chief among these are such masterworks works by the twentieth century American artists as William James Aylward (W. J. Aylward), Village Street, France, Bolton Brown, Antique Shop Entrance and Massachusetts Harbor Scene, Nenad Jakesevic, Still Life, 'Fruit in a Basket', Janet Moore, Harbor View, Penobscot Bay Area, Maine, Carl Nordell (Carl Johan David Nordell), Gloucester Fisherman, and Louis Rosenberg (Louis Conrad Rosenberg), Porticus of Octavia, Rome. A large lithograph, Untitled Composition 'View from the Balcony', by the Jamaican/African American artist, Lloyd Van Pitterson, is also present. Early nineteenth century French lithography is represented by Francois Bellay and Michel Martin Drolling, La Marchande de Pommes 'The Apple Seller', and by Louis Stanislas Marin-Lavigne and Horace Vernet, Charleroi 'Napoleon Bonaparte at the Battle of Ligny'. As well, two early lithographic portraits by Jean Baptiste Mauzaisse, Jean Jacques Rousseau and Napoleon, will be found on this page. Early nineteenth century British art is represented by a lithographic portrait of Aloys Senefelder, by John Gendall, and an eighteenth century engraving of Stivecle, or Stukeley Church in Buckinghamshire, by Richard Godfrey. 17th century Dutch art is illustrated by a large engraving entitled, Albertus I, Imperator (Emperor Albert I), by Pieter van Sompel and Pieter Claesz Soutman. Lastly we present a most important monotype and pastel drawing by the twentiethcentury German/Austrian painter and printmaker, Hilde Goldschmidt, Kitzbuhel, 'Kitzbuehel'.
