Marco Zim

Marco Zim - Duck Pond

Duck Pond

Marco Zim's original etching, "Duck Pond" was created by the twentieth century American artist, between 1925 and 1930. It is printed upon vellum-like wove paper and with large, full margins. This impression is signed and titled by Marco Zim in pencil under the lower plate-mark. Zim's artistic ability to depict light and shade with his subtle use of patterns is certainly evident in this etching, setting the peaceful mood for the ducks shielded in the grassy pond and the sleepy farmhouse visible within the misty background.
