Yigal Zemer's "Summer" is an original embossed intaglio created by the Israeli artist in 1977 and published in a limited edition of seventy-five impressions. It is signed, titled, dated and numbered, “57/75”, by the artist in pencil along the lower margin, and bears the artist’s “Y.ZE” blindstamp to the lower right. This complex work of art employs extensive embossing (much of it inkless) throughout the composition. As in many of Yigal Zemer’s original prints and paintings, sculptural concerns thus come to the forefront. |
