Note: | Robert Weaver: Known equally for his paintings and original lithographs, Robert Weaver studied art at the Kansas City Art Institute, the University of New Mexico (BFA-1965) and at the University of Nebraska (MFA-1968). He began exhibiting his art in 1970 and participated in shows in Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City and Detroit. His art is now included in a number of public and private collections such as the Museum of Nebraska Art, University of Nebraska. |
Throughout his career Robert Weaver has specialized in both portraits and scenes of the American West. Nothing changed the West more than the locomotive and its relentless drive to the Pacific Ocean.
