It is a fine, original example of early Roman Baroque art and seventeenth century Italian art.

Note:	Andrea Vaccario: An early seventeenth century Italian publisher and engraver, Andrea Vaccario was active in Rome from approximately 1599 to 1620. Between these dates he published such books as "Effiggie naturali de I Maggior Prencipi et piu valorosi Capitani di questa eta con l'arme loro" (1599), with 58 portrait engravings by Giovanni Orlandi, "Vita et Miracula S. Alberti Carmelitae" (1604) and "Vita beatissimi patris Benedicti monachorum patriarchae sanctissimi" (1611). As an engraver, Andrea Vaccario produced plates mostly for his illustrated books. These include engravings after both the paintings and architecture of Michelangelo, and various portraits.
