Note:	Lawrence Richard Macaray 'Lawrence Macaray': A twentieth century artist, illustrator and author, Lawrence Richard Macaray studied at Whittier College (BA) and California State University (MA). He served as Professor of Drawing and Painting at El Camino College, California, from 1962 to 1988. Macaray currently resides in Anaheim.
	Today the art of Lawrence Macaray is included in the permanent collections of Bowers Museum, Santa Clara, Thompson Industries, Los Angeles, and the Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation, Nottingham, England. Macaray has illustrated such books as Yarns and Tales from the Great Smokies (1978), and is the author and illustrator of Sketches from an Irish Doctor.
