Note:	Georg Kinzer: An important German Expressionist painter and printmaker, Georg Kinzer began his art studies in Berlin at the Staalichen Unterrichtsanstalt des Kunstgewerbemuseums in 1920, and completed his exams two years later. For the following ten years Kinzer exhibited both his paintings and original lithographs throughout Germany and Austria. In 1933, however, the Nazis came to power and Kinzer (like many other artists) was forced to work covertly until their defeat at the end of the Second World War in 1945.
	Georg Kinzer was influential not only as an artist but as an educator. In 1961 he accepted the post of professor at the Hochschule fur bildende Kunste, Berlin, where he taught along with his friend and fellow expressionist artist, Karl Hofer.

Condition:	Printed upon wove paper and with wide, full margins as published in Berlin around the above date. Signed by the artist in pencil to the lower right margin. Containing very slight scuffing to the outer corners (well away from the actual image), else a fine impression and in very good condition throughout. "Flower Vase" represents a superb, original example of the art of Georg Kinzer.
