Note:	Angele Delasalle: A major French landscape and portrait painter and etcher, Angele Delasalle studied art in Paris under J. P. Laurens, Benjamin-Constant and Jules Lefebvre. She began exhibiting her paintings and etchings with the Artistes Francais around 1894 and received medals from this institution in 1895, 1897, 1898 and 1900. In 1903, Angele Delasalle began exhibiting at the Salon de la Societe Nationale. She later became a founding member of the Salon d'Automne.
	Known mostly for her fine portraits, landscapes and figure studies, Angele Delasalle received the Chevalier de la Legion d'honneur from the French government in 1926. Today public museums in Paris, Luxembourg, Bremen and The Hague include examples of her art in their permanent collections.
