Note:	Dennis Corrigan: A contemporary American painter, etcher and sculptor, Dennis Corrigan studied art at the Philadelphia College of Art (BFA, 1966), and at the Tyler School of Art, Temple University (MFA, 1972). His first major exhibitions took place in 1972 and since that time his art has been included in major shows throughout the United States and in such countries as Japan. Corrigan has received numerous awards, 1st prize at the Everhart Museum, Scranton PA, Regional Juried Exhibition (1994), the Stuart Engal Award (1979), the Silver Funny Bone Award (1980), the Purchase Award (1980), and The Max Katzman Award (1983). Dennis Corrigan's original paintings and prints are today in the collections of such institutions as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, the Brooklyn Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art, the San Francisco Museum of Art, the Newark Museum of Art, the California Legion of Honor, the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C., and the Arts Council of Great Britain.
	During his career, Dennis Corrigan has also received commissions for illustration from the New York Times, New York Magazine, RCA Records, Pan American Airways and others. He is the author and illustrator of The Amusement Park (1982), and True Love Knows No Boundaries (2015), and has provided illustrations for Jewish Adventurer’s Club A Manual for Those Who Dare to Go Out With a Wet Head (1987), Superior Persons Book of Words (1985), as well as providing illustrations for various textbooks, and other periodical contributions. At present Dennis Corrigan is a Professor of Art at Marywood University, Scranton, Pennsylvania.
	During the 1970's and early 1980's the Associated American Artists of New York commissioned major American and International artists for original graphic art. Most of their published works were printed in limited, signed editions of 250. Brahms Amusing Himself was commissioned by this publisher.
