For a number of years the artist taught at Nassau County Fine Arts Museum. He currently teaches painting techniques at the National Art League, Douglaston, New York. |
During his career Robert J. Cariola has twice been awarded Tiffany Grants. His fine art has been included in major exhibitions at such institutions as the Corcoran Gallery, the Pennsylvania Academy and the National Academy of Design. Today his etchings and paintings are included in the permanent collections of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, NY., Hofstra University, Fordham University, LaSalle College and DePauw University, as well as in many private collections including that of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. | |
