Alice Dalton Brown's original silkscreen, "Dappled Pink" was created by the contemporary American artist in October of 1993. This impression is printed upon thick archival paper and with full margins, published in an edition of one hundred and fifty impressions. It is signed, dated and numbered, by the artist in pencil along the lower margin. "Dappled Pink" is a beautiful example of Alice Dalton Brown's original silkscreen art. Without a doubt, she is a master of tonal values. This is clearly seen in this scene, where she has delineated so much tranquillity and beauty.

Note: Alice Dalton Brown: A leading American Realist artist, Alice Dalton Brown studied at the Academy Julian, Paris, France (1957), L'Universite de Grenoble (1958), Cornell University (1959-60) and Oberlin College (1960-62). Her first solo exhibition took place in New York in 1975 and since that time she has exhibited her art in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Antonio, St. Paul, Baltimore and London, England. Today the paintings and silkscreens of Alice Dalton Brown are included in such permanent collections as the Hunter Museum of American Art, Tennessee, Maier Museum of Art, Virginia, New York Public Library, Springfield Art Museum and the Tampa Museum of Art.
  A large and impressive example of Alice Dalton Brown's art, "Dappled Pink" was published in 1993 in a limited edition of one hundred and fifty impressions. It is an original, signed work of graphic art. Institutions which list impressions of "Dappled Pink" in their collections include the Newark Public Library and the Allen Memorial Art Museum, Oberlin College, Oberlin, Ohio.
