Note:	Bill Brauer: A contemporary American painter and printmaker, Bill Brauer studied art in New York and began his career as an illustrator and etcher. He moved to Northern Vermont (around 1975) where he concentrated upon oil painting and taught at various schools. Bill Brauer gained popular national attention with his fine, stylized paintings of the dance, however, a more dominant aspect in his art is his study and application of Renaissance themes and elements, which often creates an almost surreal, contemplative quality to his art. Such is certainly the case with this original etching and aquatint entitled, Botticelli.
