Hohenlinden is a small village in Barvaria twenty miles
east of Munich. On December 3, 1800, During the French Revolutionary
Wars, the French forces under the command of General Moreau defeated
the Austrians led by the Archduke John. |

| Condition: |
Printed on thick wove paper and with full margins as published
in Paris in 1801. Slight foxing and surface tears exist in the margins,
most notably in the word 'Bataille', however, none intrude upon the image.
It is in excellent condition throughout and a fine early example of the engraved
art created by the French artist, Edme Bovinet and Napoleonic
art. |
