Aline Beaudoin: A contemporary Canadian
woodcut artist and etcher, Aline Beaudoin's art has been the subject of
numerous solo exhibitions at venues in Montreal, Drummondville and Trois-Rivieres,
since 1980. She has also participated in group exhibitions in Caruna, Spain,
Paris, France, Grenoble, Switzerland, and Toronto, Canada. |

Aline Beaudoin is a full member of both Contraste and Xylon Quebec. For
over twenty years she has taught printmaking techniques at l'Universite
du Quebec a Trois-Rivieres and currently resides in that city. Twelve of
her original prints (including, Entre ciel et terre) have been commissioned
by Novak Graphics, Toronto. |

Printed upon pure rag paper with the 'B. F. K. Rives' watermark
and with full, deckled margins as published in Toronto in 1987. Signed,
dated, titled and numbered, '27/45', by the artist in pencil along the
lower margin. A finely printed and in excellent condition throughout. Entre
ciel et terre (Between the Sky and The Earth) represents a prime,
original example of the Canadian art of Aline Beaudoin. |
